As a multi-company Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, Bob prides himself in building great teams to capitalize on new market opportunities. His business acumen, management, and sales skills have positioned Bob as a standout technology leader with 20 years of experience building companies from their inception to industry leadership.
Prior to PlayerLync, Bob was Chief Operation Officer and Board Member at Telesphere Networks (now Vonage Business), one of the largest privately held cloud communications companies in North America. He was responsible for all strategic and tactical initiatives within Operations, including product management and development, and strategic customer relationships. Before joining Telesphere, Bob was co-founder, President, and CEO of Unity Business Networks, an industry leader in Hosted PBX / Cloud Communication services to large multi-site businesses throughout the US.
Paulsen leads by example and believes in a balanced lifestyle. He embraces this philosophy through his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Food Bank of the Rockies, and United Way. He pushes himself weekly on the tennis court and is a proud husband and parent of two wonderful children.
Greg drives the vision in product development at PlayerLync. With incredibly broad technical experience, Greg brings concepts to life in a meaningful way. His personal touch and past success guide the prioritization of the team’s efforts based on customer input, proven strategies, and his unique intuition. For more than a decade and across several businesses, Greg has led technical efforts, including network design, build-out, and management. He’s also developed multi-language software required to automate business processes and complex systems integration in easy-to-use formats.
Greg has worked with Bob Paulsen, CEO of PlayerLync, since 1999 when the two met at AuraServ. Soon thereafter, Greg and Bob launched Unity Business Networks.
Robert takes system scalability to another level. His deep understanding of the vast technology landscape makes him the ideal CIO, overseeing the concept-to-production development efforts at PlayerLync. With over 20 years of telecommunications and data networking experience, Robert’s network engineering and coding expertise are respected by industry experts and patent holders. Robert possesses an outstanding ability to identify technology opportunities that lead to service improvement and cost savings.
Robert has been side-by-side with Bob & Greg since 2005 after leaving his post as Director of Engineering at ICG Communications. Through the years, he has proven his capacity to lead a variety of organizations through all stages of development including design, architecture, testing, implementation, and support.
